I have a question, you say you guys kept dropping the weight until you arrive at 60.8 grams. Did you stop at this point? or did you experiment dropping it even further below 60? I wanted tachyon but out of stock ( not sure if it’ll be back in stock, will wait for a bit) on another note, what would you say is the flowiest floatiest yyofirends competition throw? Coming from iyoyo iceberg and that feels very heavy and brick on string.

In your opinion does The Magpie for stability is affected on slow RPMs be with the bearing which creates the wobble? Or is it the axle lenth effect with the string not centerd as like flat bearing vs concave? Sorry my English is not so pretty what I'm trying to say is you know how the string touches the wall between the axle and the bearing which then slows down and creates a wobble effect RPM with bearing speed I'm just trying to understand what you mean by stability thank you

There will be another run of hummingbird, however it won't be in the near future as we are focusing on new releases and Peregrine and vulture re runs.

I like how your definition of chill is "Easy to land tricks, flowy, stable, powerful and controllable" which is mine too. I love the sync too for this reason however it's not flowy. However many players define a chill yoyo as a "high walled, narrow, organic, center-weighted yoyo" which would be super uncontrallable. I don't understand how people find it chilling. Yes, this kind would be nice to catch though.
@arpitkumar45253 жыл бұрын
@@Maschine_Elf Yes exactly. Vulture is a hardcore yoyo that lets you chill while organic yoyos are chill yoyos that keeps you on your feet
@kenwoodard26183 жыл бұрын
I was on the fence leaning "no" to buy a Vulture. I gravitate to softer lines and a different aesthetic as I am not a competitor who needs super long spin times and total stability, but your obvious passion for the subtleties of good design and high quality sold me. I ordered the Spider Man inspired splash and look forward to trying it. I suspect it will end up in my top rotation of 3 or 4 yoyos that I pick up most frequently. So, yeah, this video convinced me. Well done!

Great review and comparison! I'm deliberating between the Hummingbird and the Vulture. I love the new YYS colorway, but I think the stability and flow of the Vulture might be better for my style and level of skill (beginner/intermediate). Is there anything new about the Cotton Candy YYS Hummingbird vs the one you reviewed in the video?
@PhilipLFA3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yys cotton candy is just an exclusive colorway. The spec and performance are the same as any hummingbird since 2017.
@jasonpotts97673 жыл бұрын
My hummingbird is still the dead smoothest throw in my collection I don't throw it often because it's so dam smooth. My perigrine has had a hard time it's got some heavy duty vibe now but it's still a beast I'm hoping to get a vulture after Xmas if there's any left.
@johnd93573 жыл бұрын
I really like the binds on the vulture. It’s tight which is good, but most importantly it’s consistent. My biggest complaint with the hummingbird is the binds. Sometimes it snags for no reason, and then other times it just slips out for no reason. Sometimes the binds are super tight and nice, and sometimes they’re so loose that when you throw the yo-yo just slams to the end of the line with a hard thump. Not sure why, but it seems consistent with the 3 hummingbirds I own. I use zip line alpha which is about the same thickness as kitty fat. The vulture binds way better for me so far.
