Using 40 volume is WILD! You should never use more than 20 volume developer on any on the scalp lightening. Developer strengths (when using lighteners) only tell the product how fast to go. It’s like cooking. You never want to cook a roast at full temp and full speed. Slow and steady wind the race.

Wish African countries can start helping each other with development. I'm South African we have over supply of malls around 2300 at the moment and they are still building more. Even the most rural little town has a mall, a proper mall not a china mall. Africa deserve better. And we need to help each other with this development.

I usually use the purple toning shampoo to help with the brassy color. Then I go in with regular shampoo.
