for this relatively new tech, META is quite quick with its aggressiveness. I cannot count the number of my failed logins. For an expensive product which I had bought in full, it's outrageous that the company forces the client to subscribe to its system with a loop. The music is sublime.

You mean you installed an update? That's the biggest back-draw about Oculus becoming Facebook-Meta. You have no control over the software and (hence) the hardware for which you paid good money. Technologically, there are better options for VR-headsets in the market today but, of course, the prices are sky-high. META aspires to monopolize the VR market. Hopefully, that wouldn't happen as some of the biggest companies are the concurrence. I own both Quest and Quest 2, and I know that my next headset will not be Oculus.

@@LAVIV007 I didn't install the update willingly. It automatically updated itself to 50.0. Once that happened, my home icon went away, and I couldn't get in.

Same here, I still think it's the best Oculus headset around. I've tried the models that came later and was highly disappointed. There's still no real breakthrough in immersion technology since the Rift CV1. As for the musical (Home) theme. I had to record it analogically as it's a part of the compiled software and not stand-alone music file.

Yes, it did. Still, I recall that not too many outside the US knew about The Destroyer.

Yes, time flies, doesn't it. The Forever video (from where this gubarrel originates) is still my top favorite. Sure, PC Video editing technology has evolved much in the last 12 years, but back then it was fun just to play around with what we had.

I'll check Boneworks out. BTW. I've uploaded a better Rift audio yesterday as stereo.

The original company put much effort into the original Oculus Rift CV1 software to impove immersion... before it was sold to Facebook. I own this model and also have the Quest. But the Rift (using a PC) is still much better.

Believe it or not, Ms. Hunnicutt, it was the dad, i.e., me, myself and I :)))))))))) The mom is Hungarian and Hungary has never broadcasted the old show. In Israel, however, they run the show in the 1970s many times, alongside other American shows like The Bionic Man, Star Trek (the original), V, The Time Tunnel, Different Strokes and so forth. As a child in Jerusalem of that beautiful era, I was glued to the our black&white TV, quite practically. The Partridge Family was a must for I was in-love with Susan Dey (who wasn't) and that school bus.
