The word Ethiopian, meant "Black face". Moses was educated about how to rule Israel and how to prepare offerings before the Most High by his father-in-law, Jethro, the father of Moses' wife, Zipporah. Moses, Jethro, Zipporah were all descendants of Abraham - all were Black face people in hot Cush (Africa). MIriam and Aaron were upset that Zipporah had more [pull with Moses than they had with Moses. However, Miriam and Aaron did not understand as Moses understood about the significance of Zipporah compared to Miriam and Aaron. Moses appreciated the input of Zipporah, being the daughter of Jethro, a Midian priest of the Most High, because Zipporah had grown up under her father, a priest, and thus, Zipporah more likely than not knew more about the attributes and requirements of the Most High than did Moses, AAron, and Aaron combined. Zipporah had a lifelong experience under her father's priesthood. Knowing this about Zipporah and her recognized status by Moses, this evoked jealousy from both Aaron and Miriam. Miriam was cursed for her insolence toward her brother, Moses, by the Most High removing her natural sunscreen, that being her melanated skin, resulting in what was recognized at the time as leprosy. Due to the harshness of the African/Cush sun, Miriam was then susceptible to severe sun-related skin damage manifesting as sores, boils and what we know today as skin cancer - outbreaks such as malignant melanoma and basal cell carcinoma. This was a frightening thing for anyone living in that region who was openly exposed to the harshness of the sun's rays. So, Moses married within the family, although not within his immediate family, but within his lineage as an Abrahamite.

At the time, women were property, first of their fathers, then of their husbands. Marrying a woman he raped, settled the matter. Women's feelings didn't matter. The brothers were angered by the affront of the family, not their sister's suffering.

I enjoy the realistic portrayal of what the ancient nation of Israel actually looked like. Im tired of seeing Europeans with American accents parading in eastern clothes. Well done ! 😊

Today we live in an era of New testament. Don't apply the rules of old testament to current situations. It's totally out of place and agonist the teachings of Christ.

It reminded me that the Samaritan woman also gave Jesus ' camels water to drink, for, she too went for the men of her city and brought them to the well. They drank of the water of life and believed m, now, not because of what she had told them, but because they had heard Him for themselves and believed that He was the savior of the world. So, the Samaritan woman was playing Rebecca's part, but this time spiritually.

This is an excellent example of ancient Israel's God (Jehovah or Yahweh) exercising his attributes of mercy and justice. Mercy to Rahab and her family for humility and trust in Israel's God as stated in the video when Jehovah brought judgment and destruction on the Canaanite city of Jericho because of their abominable child sacrifices in the fire, idolatry, and other perversions the Canaanites were known for. God further manifested his goodness and kindness to Rahab for her aiding His chosen people, by preserving her genealogical line and by her reformed behavior in that she would be an ancestress to the Jewish Messiah Jesus; as stated in the Book or Gospel of Matthew Chapter 1 where we read in verse "5 Salmon became father to Boaz by [REHAB;] ..." (Bible quotation from NWT, or New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures.) The apostle Matthew traces Jesus's ancestry back to the Hebrew patriarch Abraham and Judean King David (verse 1) ending with Jesus's descent in Verse 16 as an adopted baby of Joseph and Mary of the royal Jewish tribe of Judah.

Women did not have a voice. It is as simple as that. It was very rare for a woman to have a voice.
