My father undertook manufacture of every Rover transmission personally at Longbridge since the 80's. Longbridge named the place powertrain or something and it was located just as you got to the plant from the Northfield end. He also built the gearboxes for the touring cars and was consulted about the manufacture of the gearbox for the group B metro although they did not build them there. He oversaw one of the biggest, unrecorded heists of said gearboxes right under the nose of management 😂😂😂. 80 gearboxes and transmissions somehow went missing and my Dad came home with thousands of pounds and took us out for a slap up meal. He could see the writing on the wall and wanted a nice bonus before they folded. He only had to bribe the security guards as he was partly responsible for shipping parts and spares to garages and Longbridge itself. He's 71 now and this happened over 30 years ago so I'm pretty much sure he's in the clear 😂😂😂

I saw one doing 120+ on the motorway mph. We was doing 100mph and it was gone by us but after i got a good look at the couple inside. 5min later all lanes closed. As far as we could see. So me n feeind run up walk way M6 2001-02 ish and saw that rover again all smashed up. Then air ambulance came for one of them idk which one it was far away still. I hope it wasnt the blonde passenger.

Pytanie, czy to jest silnik 1.0 68km rocznik 2001 mniej więcej ? Jeżeli tak, to czy to auto jest nawet żwawe jak na swoje gabaryty, np jeśli chodzi o wyprzedzanie na jakieś pozamiejskich drogach ?

Tak 1.0 z 2003r, jak sam jedziesz to ladnie sobie radzi, z pasażerem już bardzej odczuwalne brak mocy

@@88polaaa Dziękuję bardzo za informację, bo planuję coś kupić na pierwsze auto, ale totalnie nie wiem co kupić, bo przez jakiś czas będę woził z 3 osoby + ja = 350kg łącznie gdzieś ważymy, więc niby coś z mocą by się przydało, ale też nie chcę płacić ogromnego ubezpieczenia na początek. Więc szukam czegoś z małym litrarzem.

Jak to porównać do silnika hondy B16A2 ??? Lepiej ta Ibiza zbiera się ??? Frajda z jazdy lepsza Honda czy Ibiza ??? Zawsze ciekawszy byłem tej Ibizy z tym motorem .

Co do mocy seryjny FR czyli 150KM nie ma podejścia, ale masz przypadek czyli FR po chipie i b16 po dolocie i wydechu nie ma startu, przynajmiej 0-200 jeśli schodzi o modyfikacje na około silnika 😁 pozdr
