They still do some minor updates - Buffs and nerfs here and there, tweaks. Even if was fully dead, you can still enjoy the game and make guides. No matter how old a game may be, there is always new things to learn and new aspects of the game to try. Look at Marvel vs Capcom 2 and how Justin Wong comes up with new fun stuff with in a 24 year old game. A game is never truly dead, as long as people still enjoy it. Regardless of updates. :)

The initial description of Malfurion, being tricky and confusing when learning, is my experience with Azmodan. I'd say Artanis while very popular isn't a one-trick pony, with many aces up his sleeve and not-so obvious uses, for example using E to prevent CC train or just to cleanse a blind.

How to tell if someone is a Li-Ming main: Cannoneer build is their favorite. Great guide! I agree on pretty much everything, though I have a few notes: Force Armor: Mana regen passive can be very strong as it doubles the effect of healing globes and fountain while below 35%. Yes you should have full mana for teamfights/objectives, but for the skirmish parts of the game where you are roaming pretty often and grabbing globes it gives you a lot of staying power. Charged Blast: This can be helpful for clearing camps and lanes and getting that little bit of extra single target damage. Triumvirate is almost always the pick for a well balanced build though, even for calamity build as chipping enemy hero life can set up your combo to help you get the reset. Diamond Skin: I see calamity Ming as more of a short range dive hero with ranged capabilities. If you are in melee you are also much more likely to hit your full combo, and with illusionist range you can jump in and out of the fight quickly if you are getting kills. With this playstyle, Diamond Skin is actually useful quite often, especially against dive (mandatory against Genji and Illidan). Mirrorball is better than Fireflies IMO because it is more bursty, which gives enemies less of a chance to react to your damage and so you can get your resets faster. Ming do love them resets. Archon: I take this in QM all the time just for the "I'm the Sgt. Hammer now" memes. My best is 13k damage on core with one beam. Plus it looks cool with the Lunar skins.

Great insight from the Li-Ming main himself! Didn't know that regeneration globe / fountain effects would get multiplied by the mana regeneration. That's something I'll test out. In this case, it becomes much better as a pilgrim talent where you travel lane to lane with mana in your back pocket and a nice spell shield up front. Great mention! I neglected to mention that charged blast helps in PvE damage when you spread out your damage! That's one of its biggest selling points completely glossed over by me. Once I pick up Seeker at level 7 I tend to favor that when aiming my missiles. But it's great when fighting many mercenary camps (especially doubloon camps on Blackheart's Bay). Agree, agree, and agree on Diamond Skin. In games where you can freely calamity slam into enemies, you will be taking lots of heat and the talent becomes ultra valuable when its soaking all the damage. I think I made Fireflies too much of a red herring in terms of default 16 talent lol, I do favor Mirrorball for a more traditional build and comp with good CC. Archon, scharchon. Only Archon I respect is the lord Tassadar himself!
