Most of the videos that I’ve seen show that you have a nice swing. Keep up the practicing and no doubt you will be in the 80s, then into the 70s. These videos have been very entertaining. Thanks!

Lovely video Anna. It's going to be interesting to watch your progress. You will as a young athletic woman develop quickly. Unfortunately this is the easy part...as said you're a young athletic woman, you're body will allow you and your swing to develop. The much harder part will come when you start to really become good and your game starts to move to a much higher level. Then you will start having to train your brain and not just your body, and swing mechanics. This is without doubt be the hardest thing you've ever done. Trying too make yourself not think about the wrong things in the middle of a split second golf swing is what separates normal people from the elite. I speak as the father of a former England boy and now professional golfer. Good luck on your journey.

Course management is key, place the ball in the right place not to make doubles or triples. Often being smart taking an iron off the tee and not having to play out of the rough will drop 5 shots easy

The lowest of the low hanging fruit is distance. Statistically handicap is directly correlated to how far you hit the ball. If you’re closer to the hole with driver, you will have less club in on your approach,and oh by the way all other clubs go farther, and now you hit driver and a flip wedge on every par four. Now you’re a low single digit.

Your definition of a beginner is different than my definition of a beginner
@nastybadger-tn4kl11 сағат бұрын
Before you go play golf , lift some weights. Not toning but real dumbbell and bench press. This is key. Without it you get into bad habits. That mean body get into bad moves and body memory will haunt you all life. Goal should be to have Eurekha moment. That is able to hit ball straight. Watch ben hogan swing video and linn grant swing video They all mastered that Thought process. First try to hit ball straight on knee. Because you have to understand plane swing. Long back swing and short down swing. Golf swing is bascially you are throwing club but ball in the way. Dont do golf. without getting flexible. Good golfer Shoulder tilt. Right shoulder look at ball , left shoulder look at sky during impact. You need to get to that position without any pain in the body. Watch this korean guy golf short videos. Not all good but some reveals things @wannagolf1633. <--- watch this guy all short videos Dont play golf until you watch all his youtube short. And Take notes. Once you have whole of page info. Then its try to test them in range Dont go to golf course until you get plane swing. Take a long stuck what is best way to throw that stick long distance? Javelin throw away. But you are standing 90 degreee You will have to have shoulder tilt to throw. if you release wrist cock early club wont go much distance The feel is butt of the club leading through out the golf swing even at impact. Longer you keep that way more power to your shot. Concepts 1. Athletic position with knee flex and body bend front as much without losing rotational power. Too much bend know good too less bend is slide.You have to close to ball as much without losing power or balance 2. Simple backswing - natural bend of wrist - no lifting 3. At start of down swing club falls your knee and hip rotate ( this is hardest master ) Because when you look at that you want to hit hard , concept is not hit the ball but scoop it just like ice hocky 4. Left wrist supination <--key - during impact wrist bend without suppination ball can go anywhere. Each player have this different stages of swing. Some during down swing some during backswing etc. 5. My theory is that you change right palm turn look at sky at the start of downswing like linn grant. THis is forced error then correct it during down swing. Idea behind is that if you try to do anything , universe work against you. So instead you trick it. You trick your body. 6. Inside out downswing - club come from inside in order to avoid slice. Not every day you have your body in good shape. So inside out tell you make adjustment 7. Club falls during downswing and you are not bringing club to hit it. You are there ... because of knee turn and hip turn your club is right above ball and you hit through 8. think you are scooping ball below the eye and not hitting ball. Now scooping down is compression ...scoop slap.

Sorry but that teacher has some weird suggestions. You 100% do NOT need to go to the gym for golf. You need to get tighter in your swing, more fluid. My 8 year old can hit his driver 110 yards straight as an arrow and he's not very strong, he just has that natural swing most kids have. You have the basis of a very nice swing (see drives at 3:41 for an example, nice swing.) I have been playing 8 years but have only been a member somewhere once, so basically have had just over 1 full years' play under my belt. You have to figure out your swing yourself, all the videos and tips don't work, you have to swing your swing. Concentrate on getting the club head to hit the ball and always have a target in mind. At one point i was so close to giving up but the more i play the better i get.

Love this for you,winter ball flys shorter,wind,rain kick you in the butt and its harder to putt due to extra clothes and green conditions. Looking forward to see how you progress. Subbed!

that gym routine will help with the back pain!
@lawbinson19 сағат бұрын
The main thing is to be able to play pain free! Even if you're hitting it well, it has to be changed if it hurts. Hope you keep up with it! The most frustrating thing about golf is you'll find a great stretch of golf and think you'll never lose it. And then you do, and think you'll never get it back 😂

You made the best first step possible in starting with lessons from a pro; it’s best to learn a proper swing and then practice it. My own thought regarding learning after having spent decades trying to get better is this: practice putting from 5 feet to try and achieve making 4 of 5 putts - that’s what pros achieve but mind you that’s on super fast greens on average greens you can do it. Next practice lag putting from 25 feet with the goal of getting within 5 feet. Next have a chipping lesson with a pro and practice to hone in the proper chipping stroke. Then move on to pitching - again staring with a lesson. Next is irons. Then finally your driver and woods. In a nutshell it’s “learning golf scoring backwards from green to tee”. If your putting is confident then you fear chipping and pitching less. If putting, chipping and pitching are confident then you fear approach shots less. A tuned up short game really can improve scoring. Hope your journey is fun and successful. Please keep up the content!

Well done Anna, extremely good going in those conditions and the pace of play you were playing at, you nutter, lol. -1 as well you are clearly nuts , but just got to love your attitude for the game. Summer conditions the way your striking the ball better 10 shots off that easy I predict. Can't wait to next year when we see after the winter coldness how your game improves again 🏌⛳💋😘

I can guarantee, whenever you play your best 9, the back 9 will ruin it every time... I'm still waiting for two straight good 9s. I can play 38... But not twice in a row. So I never broke 80.
