I thought y'all used walkie talkies? I've passed two flaggers on both ends who got disorganized because the distance was great they couldn't see the traffic from either side

As a roll back driver working for AAA, I was split seconds away from death three times in five months. Honestly, it's an adrenaline rush.. I make sure I give my dog a special pat because I'm not sure if I'm coming home. I-95 with a flat tire pulled over in the hammer lane working on some b*******with my legs out in traffic. Child seats, get everyone safe and then go to work...my lady thinks I unlock doors, and put air in peoples tires. 25 miles out from my station, AAA pays me $7. No bullshit! Thanks for the 20 bucks

common sense always be alert good communication skills know construction operations, asphalt, concrete, bulldozers, backhoe,dump trucks,concrete truck,double rigs, knowing what type of operation you will be on top of your game and the company easily get more contracts

Hey Roxanna. Not necessarily. The math is pretty much done for you in the MUTCD. If you know how to read a chart or graph, you can find the information you're looking for. Easy peasy! 😉😁😁

What can you do if the setting up phone icon at the bottom of the screen is spinning and will nitvalloe you to connect to your headset to receive calls through IDCOMM. I work from home and I can not get it to set up phone it keeps spinning and nothing happens

This is more the reason that this and or other similar jobs as such should increase the wage. This is a very dangerous line of work, truly SAFETY's not in your best interest for the engineers I call them TC ENGINEERS, And or us rather then employees for the simple fact that we engineer and navigate traffic through dangers Territory.

There should be a clear path to upgrade from being a flagger and become a professional tradesman. In nyc above 90% flaggers are black men which is just a game to say you provide diversity in employment.

Not according to the test method: "Cool the specimen to room temperature at 25 ± 5°C (77 ± 9°F), and record the dry mass as A. Immerse each specimen in the water bath at 25 ± 1°C (77 ± 1.8°F) for 4 ± 1 min, and record the immersed mass as C. Remove the specimen from the water bath; damp-dry the specimen by blotting it with a damp towel, and determine the surface-dry mass as B as quickly as possible (the entire operation is not to exceed 15 s)."

I work for an engineering firm that does state CEI work. One night a drunk driver ran through our lane closure and side swiped our attenuator truck. We chased him down and called police. He was arrested for his 3rd DUI since 2012. I went to his court date and he plead guilty to DUI 1. See he plead out of his 2 previous DUI’s to lesser charges so his 3rd DUI was counted as his first. Got 48 hours in jail and license suspended one year. Police officer in court told me he want get any serious penalties until he kills someone. I blame the DA office for letting him plead out. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE, and slow down. Getting somewhere 5 minutes slower will be ok!
