What do you think of the Milano large top-grip with the plastic string in the back? Have you tried one of these? Have you heard if these are dependable for holding a wig in place? Just wondering if they're as good as the original Milano wig grips. Thank you.

The large Milano topper grip with the cord is the grip I wear about 90% of the time. If not I am wearing only the Milano Original grip, as I have on in video and I cut out the areas around my ears for less bulk around my ears. The cord on the large topper grip, only needs to be adjusted once, using the printed directions. I have two and have never had to readjust them. ( had for a year) They hold my wigs very securely, even in the back . The cord goes in the dent under the occipital bone. If you have a FLAT occipital bone, you may not be able to use it. I have a fairly pronounced bone. I love them,they feel like nothing in my head, and stay in place wonderfully. Thank you for asking. I purchase either of these two types of grips on Amazon. Perry is my absolute favorite. I get more compliments on Perry than on my more expensive Belle Tress wigs. Vale's mini-lace front draws my attention in a bad way and distracts from an otherwise pretty style. You mentioned you shave your neck. Is it possible to do that by yourself? I went to a hair salon that charged me $50 to do it.

On my iPad, that color reads gray. so I was surprised when you said the color was buttered toast. I could see the color more clearly in natural light. I guess we'll have to wait for the side and back views. Ha Isn't making a video nerve-wracking? I'd just be sitting there muttering to myself. Thanks for posting, V!

Yes I do a lot of starting over and I detest editing, this my videos are what they are and filled with senior moments.. in editing I lost the spin to show all sides and back. ( sorry).

This is the Color of my jet the sun lit whatever I can’t remember, but I do know that that’s my favorite shade. I love it. It looks. I feel like Barry becoming with my complexion. I love jet. I wonder if a Estetica makes jet in an Auburn or red copper color???

Do you know if this will stain the lace? I’m concerned about the lace showing on my forehead mostly.

It never has mine. I also rinse as soon as it sets for a minute, before drying. But have never seen an issue in any video abt it coloring lace. It has also never discolored my full mono tops. I have tried this on an older hf Toni Brattin wig and it did nothing. So, I suspect it will not work on HF styles. V

If u love it but have a bit of extra cap in the crown area, let me know here, as there is a very easy way to alter caps to be smaller. Takes about 10 min, and a needle and thread. I have done a few. But most of my fav wigs are estetica and most I have not had to alter. I also do not like wigs tight, form fitting on my head though. On no dear this piece is fabulous on you very trendy. The super short styles on me if I look down the back of the wig sticks out like the old style toupee on the old men back in the day. So I’ve decided to go a little longer with January. Retiring my short wigs because all I’ve got do that. I’m 64 and getting this wig trying to decide between oyster and mist. So I’m here for the color and I see how beautiful oyster is so I’ve decided on your color because I love how it looks on you! God bless you!

After watching this video, I bought Perry in Icy Shadow and wore it on a trip to Venice. It was thrilling when several chic Italian women approached and complimented me on my wonderful haircut. I told each of them it was a wig, and each was shocked. Thank you so much V for your thoughtful and original styling suggestions. This is now my go to favorite.
