Very smooth racing, you have just about convinced me I need to give up sim racing altogether.

2 time trials should put you over 4.0SR. I usually get about 0.04 for a full TT if I don't get any incident points...

To see what SR you gained or lost in a time trial, look up the results. You'll find it in the license column (next to the ttRating column). It shows yout license, safety rating, and irating.

Was a tough week. I had brake pedal issues and needed to recalibrate before race 2. I can be fast in these sometimes, but i dont know where the speed comes from. Practice i was doing 35.9 - couldnt get anywhere near that during the event. See you at Oulton!

You are correct, the old M4 GT4 (F82 I believe) replaced Ford Mustang in Production Car Challenge this season.

I like the simple screen and POV. I wonder if we have been in the same grid? I started this same journey 1 month ago, took a week to get my D License. It's been fun for me after many years sim racing offline to consistently compete with real people. I may put up some videos of what it's like being a rookie in iRacing. I avoid the erratic racers and try to keep up with the faster racers but I'm off the pace most of the time. I agree safety rating is more important than "winning" . Keep it up and good luck.

Soundwise, when driving it's perhaps a bit disappointing. But the car drives very nice, put out a few videos on my own (I took it to Cadwell for a some hotlapping just to try the new track.... man that was fun)

Nice video. only thing I wish was it, was naming the car where you typed lap time and other info. as a pretty new racer, not up to speed on what car you was driving. the McLaren is confirmed coming today :-)

The Mustang seemed to excel at high speed stability and top speed? Nice that the game gets the cars all so close. Into the season the could pick courses and conditions that suit the underdog cars more :)

Love your streams. I was the Porsche on your last race. It is my 2nd race on VIR, so I wasn't consistent, but just to address a few of your comments. 4:14:40 - I was not blocking, he was far enough for me to change my line and it was my "corner". I don't think it's wise to go 2 wide through there especially on lap 1. Should I have let off the gas and let him through or not drive on my racing line just because he's close behind me? 4:17:36 - It was not a dive or a send. Porsche is slow in fast out - or at least that's how I drive to save tyres. Ferrari would have hit me from behind if I hadn't moved to the inside. 4:43:00 - Sure, you would have gotten me "if it wasn't for the Corvette crashing". So if everything were to go your way, you would've taken 3rd for sure. But you're unaware I also had a crash and a 1.7k driver blocking me for a whole lap who I had to battle to get by. I was actually battling P2 ho was actually blocking quite a lot until traffic came, then I lost about 8s to P2 because I was too nice to the faster classes in the corners. You even mentioned that I was unlucky with the traffic - you have no idea how much. And then I saw them overtake P2 on straights every single time.. losing seconds per corner to him. You even saw one GTP hit me and run me off track at one point and another GTP rejoining on top of me. With all of that going on I had burnt tyres and some damage I think. If my race went according to plan, I'd be P2 most likely. Anyways, TL;DR you're a good content creator, but here you just made some nonsense claims :D no harsh feeling or anything, but just keep in mind that not everything is what it looks like at first. P.S. I got the PSR rig a year ago due to your recommendation.

That was very unfortunate in the LMP2 race, you were on the pace but that section is always really tricky. I hope it won't put you off trying the LMP2 again as if you can survive and navigate the traffic, then there's gains to be had.
