Hi, did you just use the taxi going to the Great Wall and back to the city? Can you remember how much it cost you? Thank you
@yyproject9 күн бұрын
Hi I booked a driver (1000 rmb big car and 700 rmb small car for half day) and he waited for us there. However, you definitely can get a taxi to the great wall (around 200-300 rmb one way) easily. Not sure how long is the wait for a driver on the way back but I assume it shouldn't take too long given many others will also go there by taxi.
@yyproject9 күн бұрын
Definitely recommend going earlier to avoid the crowd! The view is also much nicer when it's empty up there 😂

@@yyproject how early should I go? Hahahaha and what time does the lift and cable car open?
@yyproject9 күн бұрын
I went to mutianyu and it opened at 7:30. I got there slightly before 8. I booked on taobao as i speak mandarin and can coordinate. If you don't, i would suggest just use taxi directly or find something on trip.com.

Thank you YY for sharing!! 👍 I wasn’t sure about if I should consider MBA after 5-6 years career before, but I found some answers from your video, so thank you! Can I ask is the GMAT mandatory exam when applying a MBA please? Also keen to know did the class inspire you to develop yourself OR the gap year and social offer you time to reflect yourself for personal development ? Thanks !
@yyproject26 күн бұрын
More from gap year and social - will elaborate more in next video! :) GMAT is mandatory. GRE is accepted too but GMAT is more common.

Thank you for sharing! Just got my admit call yesterday and been looking for as much insight from people like you as possible 😊 What made you choose Singapore as your home campus when your goal was to move continents after graduation? Did you do an exchange in Fontainebleau to help facilitate the move?
@yyprojectАй бұрын
Congrats! :) And that's planned for my next video haha: (1) I planned to do P1-2 in Singapore (I was already there and wanted to experience both campuses) and end in Fontainebleau as recruiting is in P4-5. (2) for J batch, graduation is in France so I wanted to end there for this reason as well. (3) I wanted to do Abu Dhabi in P3 but it was closed due to covid unfortunately so in the end I did P3-5 in Fontainebleau as my exchange. (4) Mainly due to covid restriction in Singapore, for my year, Fontainebleau was very popular for P3-5, so I didn't have many bidding points left for other exchange programs. Hope this helps!

For forbidden City did you purchase tickets at the gate or pre book online?
@yyproject3 ай бұрын
For forbidden city you have to book one week in advance online. But it’s too competitive so we booked the viator tour and the tour guide helped us book our tickets.

This is the one we booked if it helps: www.viator.com/tours/Beijing/Beijing-Small-Group-5-Hour-Tiananmen-square-and-Forbidden-City-Boutique-Walking-Tour/d321-11301P67
