fantastic cinematic video but unfortunately the audio was ruined by the sound of cameras clicking in the background.

Let's be fair - only some of the audio is ruined. Most of the shots were somewhat ok "out of the camera", some others I could repair, and for some it's just close to impossible. Most of the shutter noise is from my own camera though - this, I can safely announce, will not be a problem next time around.

@@RT__Trains_and_Travel lessons learnt! The visuals were great. Regarding the comment "only some of the audio is ruined" - thats not how it works in the audio realm. If in an hour long Mozart concert, phones rang five times for a total duration of just four minutes one would not state that only some of the concert was ruined! Human psychology does not work that way with audio. It's not like a steak where can cut off the burnt bit and still enjoy the rest.

All credit to all the organizers, it takes a special type of person for that. Often a " won't take no for an answer type"😅

great video, especially the drone shots!! How did you record the sound for the drone parts?
@RT__Trains_and_Travel8 ай бұрын
Thanks :) In some cases, like at the long bridge shot, I had the ground-based video camera record it (then threw away the video and used the audio as a soundtrack to the drone footage). For most of the drone shots in Part I though, sound has been created from existing snippets and synchronized with the wheels as much as I could. Took half a day of work per minute of video....
