Can't understand why Larry isn't playing the FULL set of drums for that heavier feel... As someone said around here, think best versions of The Fly were early Elevation Tour (back when they played Discotheque too merged with Staring at the end, very creatively so).....I also really loved The FLY from Vertigo Mexico City on U2-VertigoTour-3D ! Of course EXCEPT ZooTv Tour The Fly which is the best and our point du referrence ici ! Excusez-moi, J'oublie mon cahier a la maison ! This E+I version is, to cite Bono, Bizarro.....

Yeah I guess it’s pretty cool they’re playing the old songs again. But considering Bono took such little care of himself for so long and now sounds like he’s 80 here when he’s only 57, it’s rather anti-climactic. He sounds absolutely terrible. And the crazy thing is it’s gotten significantly worse in the 7 years since this. and to be clear, it’s got absolutely nothing to do with age. Simon Le Bon and Robert Smith sounds fantastic. Eddie Vedder? Fantastic. Paul McCartney sounded great until he was 78. The odd thing is Bono can still hit the notes. So the only conclusion is it’s just laziness and indifference.
