Nonono, I HATE the "sharing one horse" trope because it's REALLY bad for the horses back when the tack or a singular person is slightly too heavy but TWO people? No, just no. Don't do that. I could love a book and that thing could destroy my overall enjoyment of the book. (It's literally animal abuse)

I LOVED Happy Place but I think your points are completely fair! I have a theory with Emily Henry's books that people seem to fall loosely into two categories; those who love People We Meet On Vacation and Book Lovers, and those who love Happy Place and Beach Read (I am in the second camp) and then there's Funny Story which unites us all 😂

I'm currently rereading Daughter of No Worlds physically and suddenly I love it??? Like, I listened to the audiobook the first time and felt meh but the second I read it physically, I loved it. Guess the audiobook just wasn't for me but ngl, I'd die for Max and Tisaanah. I'm so happy to love it tbh. Plus, Max is like... so cute and AHAAHAHAAAAAH.
