I watched this video right before I went to my 4th dress shopping appointment and your thoughts at the end really helped me with my dress anxiety! It was helpful seeing someone who looked like me voice similar thoughts about body image, budget, who to bring, etc. I ended up saying yes to the dress at that appointment! Thanks for making this video

Such an inspiring vlog. Every now and then, I scour KZbin for any Teochew content I can find just so that I can hold onto that sliver of a connection I have to my heritage. I have to say this is probably my favorite video yet. The intimacy makes the video that much more genuine and reminds me so much of my own family and was also a great way to practice my broken teochew. You just gained a new fan, keep up ALIFWIN! Might have to start doing just that

I only throw away makeup that is finished. I have eyeshadows that are 10yrs old. I still use them. They don't smell bad and they perform well.

It was very emotional to watch but so important for us to see the reality of what life can sometimes be. Hi! I first stumbled on your insta with your grandpa speaking teochew videos but Ive watched all of your mom's journey. I dont usually comment but im also teochew and your mom is more or less my mom's age so this video particularly me very emotional (lots of tears 😭). Your mom is so strong and seems so kind.
