Can always plan for the worse but cant really plan for the unexpected wrap them cakes tight with duck tape or i did this year make 24in long stake 3in wide 5/8 wood an pound them around every 1/1 an even some small 200g bangers but glad nun happened man

@michaelwatts3084 Yeah I've had shells fail before but think this is the first "large" cake fail. Fortunately, it just split into a few pieces rather than completely blowing apart. Thanks for checking it out pyro!

At least no one got hurt and you got to use the other half, I myself had a fail on July 4th wasn't pretty I got hurt pretty good video be up soon

Going with Black Widows again for my main shells this year. Check out their Angry Volcano cone fountain. You won't be disappointed.

Black Widows are solid. These were a few years old, and they definitely seemed a little "hot." Saw your demo of the Angry Volcano. It's quite the fountain! I'll keep an eye out for it. Appreciate the comment! 👍

Yeah, there are loads of better options for canister shells nowadays. But still, I usually will pick up a box of Excalibur every year.

@@unseenpyroalways pick them up just for the nostalgia. Most of the newer shells are iffy especially in residential neighborhoods. The breaks can be too big to the point where they’ll hit the roofs or the embers usually last forever and linger. The difference in wow factor doesn’t warrant the $60-100 price difference sometimes
