What you mean by “too much”? Not the easiest bike for filtering in city traffic jams. However, when buying a bike I am more likely towards the “beauty” than the “rationality” - but still, this is a motorbike that doesn’t generate any kind of limitation to me on the road (other than not being able to do off-road for sure 😂) cheers mate !

Is it smooth with closing/opening throttle during normal relaxed rides? I am coming from MT07 and looking for something bigger, heavier, and more relaxed and smooth, while capable to give an immediate blast on demand. R12R kinda fits in, but its sound after years on singles and twins is a huge turnoff, as well I fear dry clutch. Then I found out K-Rs exist, but there is really much less info about them than for boxers.

He did revmatch but not all the time and this is not wrong, depending on the situation sometimes you need the engine braking more.

@@rhemyis engine braking should be done procedurally not just yanking on the clutch and going down a gear and letting it go. Newer bikes have slipper clutch that allow for a easier transmission but these older bikes you need to be gentle with them seeing as how they're likely to suffer damages from doing it wrong. Engine braking is necessary yes, but also your engine isn't worth less than a few brake pads and a brake rotor

@@rawlaxed6437 thanks bro! I love it man. Drives superb and attracts a lot of positive attention. The K43 is rare here in the Netherlands and especially in this version. Over the years I have owned and driven many motorcycles, but this is something else. I have no intention of ever selling it. These big bore blocks are not made anymore and I find the model itself timeless (almost futuristic).

Efectivamente, se echa de menos el doble embrague en reducciones. Acostúmbrate a incorporarlo, porque no solamente hará mucho más placentera la conducción, sino que protegerá tu caja de cambios y dejarás de tener la sensación de brusquedad al bajar de marchas causada por el enorme freno motor de estas motos

Definitely reliable. I know someone who owns one with 150k kms on it. Still going strong. Just do your maintenance every year. Especially the oil changes (cardan as well).
