Hmmm not sure about this one. I’ve owned and been involved with Sierra RS Cosworths since 1991. Very little history on its MOT log and it’s been modified quite a bit. The vin plate looks like it’s been removed and re added plus with so many alterations to the body, engine and interior I wouldn’t rely solely on the engine numbers. It’s always best to get someone who is a Cosworth Expert to look it over.

I remember one of these parked on the council estate where I grew up. I always remember how out of place it looked against the other cars on the road such as mk1 ford escorts, vauxhaul vivas, renault 4, hillman imps, morris minors, austin 1100 and Maxis etc 😊😁👍

Gorgeous cosworth think if i remember rightly the crystal blue cars were only built in 1988 and only available on the E plate

haha I just bought a 1.4 16 V Elegance from 2001, with only 22 000 miles!! Old lady as well... Perfect condition. Can it last for another 10 years? PLease comment! Regards from Germany

Sure it can last if you look after it, mine is 1.2 12V Elegance 2005 and have 200.000km, running and looking as new new, thanks to proper service and maintenance.

@@jjj13031984 Parts are cheap, every mechanic can fix it, you can do basic things by yourself, just dont trash it, drive it as a normal car. And its better build quality than a second generation Fabia. Here in Czech Republic, its home land, its well loved, even that its 20 years old. Thanks and good luck to you as well!
