Back in the 80's I owned a 428CJ Torino. It had a C6 and an open wheel nine inch with 3.50 gears. Never made it to the track but it would burn one wheel all the way down the street. I sold it a short time later for a very low sum. Wish i had it back now. Awesome job guys!!!!!

The 429 supposedly had been built to compete in NASCAR.

Name another 1974 car that could beat out or come so close to a 72.

My car has similar tune in Uk. Es motors. It ran a 10 second on street. I have PS4s sometimes if I launch it bounces off redline in 1st. Won’t change up unless I click paddle. Is it wheel slip that confuses the car. I’ve heard issue with others. Doesn’t happen every time

Plymouths suck. They have always sucked. Only thing worse than a plymouth is a ford. Fords SUCK!

I’ve always thought the 67-68 Cougars were a much more beautiful car than mustangs. The styling, grill and tail light design are very elegant. They really stood out.

Looks to me GTO has taller gears and given a 1/4 mile more would leave Chevy in the dust. Also, it appears the Chevy has "warmed up" the tires to make them extra sticky.

Car is 100% stock. Pretty decent for a base platform. Start throwing parts at it now, Gears and a converter sticky tire. Car is beautiful, I wouldn't mess with it too much.

Of course, they had to put the lower compression 71 buick up against the hemi to make it look good lol

So what happened to your channel? Use-ta have races between the 60s, early 70s cars, a few yrs back. Did you do all the cars that were available? Did the interest die, because the ones who lived it are greying, balding, or dying? Or did you just get bored with it all? Even tho I enjoyed the old format, I wouldn't blame you for bailing out. All good things usually come to an end. Many thanks for the effort you put into it, back then. The new stuff doesn't excite me, like the old. (But hey, that's just me)

notice how the lambo was already catching up , the challenger would’ve been gapped in a bigger drag race.

More cam and compression in the 400. Great torque from the 455 out of the hole but I’d say in a lesser state of tune. Pretty sure you can go up one point in compression which would help the 455 lots but doubt that’s the case

Did corvette in this era make optional side pipes where the individual header tubes were "woven" around eachother part of the way out the side before coming into the collector tubes? My dad had one and I'm trying to figure out if they were stock or aftermarket
@roadtesttvАй бұрын
@@MidwestFarmToysSide pipes were available; however, the side pipes that looked “woven into each other”’ like a header were after market. The OEM side pipes used a stock exhaust manifold. Great question. Thanks for watching !!
