They builder knows he has to paint it. The instructions are there to go back to after your done painting. The shocks are built. You just have to insert your shaft. Lol Yes, it should have servo horns included. Any 20mm horn works

Nice looking rigs ya have there. The Axial is somewhat off compared to scaling down a Jeep, as well as if you trail along side a Trx4 Blazer 1/10 its the same wheelbase so its definitely off. Say maybe 11.5 maybe 11.7 wheelbase. But either way its dang nice!!! In actuality all the trx4 and others are little bigger than 1/10 persay depending how you look at it honestly. It depends really on ones perception of scale I guess. Either way thank you for sharing some nice rigs

Actually if you take the dimensions of a 1:1 cj7 and reduce them to 1/10th scale the axial rig is off. But it's still an awesome rig. Also look into the GI JOE classified series for a figure for the cj.

The chassis and the rear arms and the bulkhead are the weak points. I replaced them as they broke. I put RPM arms all the way around and a cheap aluminum rear bulkhead and diff case from eBay that was 20 bucks. I use the M2C Chassis. The rest of mine is stock and doesn't have many issues. It's so much fun to drive. Don't skimp on the Steering servo. Have fun, bro.

I'm in process building one now. It is a nice kit, not for beginners for sure. Tools don't need to be included that'll just increase the price and if you're building the mammoth chances are you've already built other kits so tools should be on hand already. I've built an orlandoo hunter, kit is small hardware. Orlandoo can condition you for frustration. I watched a bunch of videos of the mammoth and having a hard time deciding what color, weathering, camouflage or not, but yes this kit is awesome definitely getting some build time in.

If you turn the top spring retainer on the shocks downward about 3/4" to stiffen up the springs, it will usually eliminate a lot of the body rub.
