Im really confused about how much these stories reflect chinese law. In America beating and abusing your family members is illegal and will get you sent to jail. But apparently according to these stories, in china people can beat their family members, even children and its not illegal? Why?

The story is bad but at least it shows Ethan suffering and that's a good thing. The only thing that may save this story is a part 2 where because she sold her soul for love the contract is voided and shes free to punish Ethan more . Many story's have that kind of story twist where because they sold there soul for love there no longer held buy the contract.

I often hear demons wanting souls, but never what happens with those souls and if they can be freed. So maybe she will eventually be reborn when the demon dies. Maybe demons use souls as food which would be sad. I like stories where both mother and child go back in time.

Playing a drinking game where you drink every time she say "Asterisk" would be very dangerous. Someone really need to go over the videos and do a check before they go online, there are always mistakes (like names being swapped, sentences repeating, there was a story where the main character was called 'Dollars Dollars', etc.).
