Very nice. I recently had a large section of a beech tree come down in a snow storm. I cut it up to clear my driveway and this past weekend I noticed a beautiful piece of crotch wood in the woodpile. I brought it home and plan to do something similar with it. Great inspiration. Thanks you for posting.

G’day, thanks for this nice work.. What timber is this . I’m not familiar with Timbers other than from Australia. Yin and Yang is sort of what’s happening but their not opposites but very similar.

A classic example of included bark. If two tree trunks grow closely together they do not merge and become one, they both continue to grow their own bark so there is a real chance of one splitting off and falling.
