I know for a fact, that soulmates dont exist... I was with someone for almost 10 years (Probably the longest relationship i will have upon till now). We used to be so compatible and it was all peachy pie until time and circumstances reshaped us to absolutely incompatable. I got ghosted two years ago. It really hurt my feelings. Me and this guy never dated but that was very cowardly for him to do. And I've had to deal with the pain of it for two years and also trying to get over it for two years. The effect it can have on you is not ok. And ghosting somone also is not ok. I am young I'll be 18 march 23rd it happened when I was 16. I feel like I'll never be able to get over this fully. For alot of people who have been ghosted they cant just get over it because it hurt their feelings. It is taking some time for me.

My girlfriend and I of 9 years was still talking after we broke up because we couldnt really step away from eachother until suddenly out of the blue she slept with my childhood friend who lives in the same city as her. (She called and told me) I got mad ofcourse and told her how i felt about it and what a shit thing to do from both of em. We hang up and i hear nothing from either of them for like 3 months. Two days ago the guy calls and tries to explain what happened and clear his concious with a bunch of stories that makes no sense at all and they just happened to fall in love. ”He didnt know we we’re that serious”. 9 years together not serious? To me, ghosting is childish and shows ones inability to handle confrontation by way of avoidance. Personally, I was ghosted and it definitely felt like a silent rejection because it was.
