Me and my husband were at a very low point. He had just been sentenced to 32 months in prison starting end of Feb. We were referred to Sam by some other former clients and he had promised to help my husband get into RDAP. That he knew the right people, knew the doctor and case managers. He told me personally that he had an 80% chance of getting into the March class if we signed the contract and sent him the $2000. So of course having never dealt with any of this stuff we trusted him. My husband got to prison and quickly found out there was no class starting in March. The next one was till May, which he couldn’t get into until he was in the BOP system. He asked Sam to help him navigate the process so he could get into the system and told to fill out a BP8, which basically calls out the prison for not doing their job. So now my husband has a target on his back. It took 60 days to get my husband in the BOP system when it should have taken 30 days. He is also unable to get into the May class. As much as Sam promised he could get him in since he knew the Dr, which he does not. Save your money. Do not use this guy. He is a scammer. $2000 is nothing to him but it’s huge to our family. He won’t even give us a refund and now tells my husband he’s selfish for wanting his money back. Do not trust this man.

If someone refuses to take any recommended FSA classes, they will lose earned time credits. It is not a wise thing to do

Absolutely both of these would apply to a sentence of a year in a day. If you’d like to learn more about it, why don’t you give us a call we can explain.

How wouuld these two acts work to help someone given a short sentence like a year and a day? Are their terms too short to benefit, aside from good time credits?

My problem is I received supervision from Illinois but I live in Texas. I was told all I needed to do was not get in trouble and complete a class. They’re trying to transfer me to Texas where the probation appears very strict. The judge said o could do reporting by phone social services is saying I have to go to Texas probation. My lawyer says i don’t have to . I am so confused as to what to do.
