I get what you're going after here but what if you have many required fields per opp stage? Having to double up on each required field for each stage would get difficult to manage. I'm curious if you've had to deal with that scenario and what you might've done about it. Thus far I've just set up a rich text component listing out which fields are required at which stage, but I'd love something more dynamic that isn't difficult to manage.

If the campaign member object and reporting has a column for member type and lead/contact ID you can pull one report to see both leads and contacts. Todd is correct though, not all metadata is in the campaign member report, like the MQL date. I think you can customize reporting to pickup that information based on the person being a lead or contact.
