Your life will be so much easier when you can upgrade your pickaxe or your regular axe. Even copper level would help. I feel so bad watching you valiantly whacking away, losing energy by the bucketfuls, when an improved pickaxe would get you further in the mines faster, and an axe would help you gather the mountains of wood you need for virtually everything in the game. It's worth every bit of the 2,000g each that it costs. Steel and gold improvements are even better but cost quite a bit (5,000 ea for steel; 10,000 ea for gold). The very first time I saw an NPC destroy a forage item, it was right around the same place as your encounter, but it was Sebastian going to the lake to have a smoke. I was as surprised as you were, and equally appalled. I couldn't believe he'd do that! Then I saw Abigail do the same thing near the bus stop a couple of days later (she destroyed a daffodil that I needed for a quest too, so I was pretty annoyed!). I guess it must be a thing now.

Glad to see you back playing Stardew. Just a tip - don't throw away your stone. You should made 1 Staircase to take to the mines so you can use it when within 1 floor to make it to an elevator floor. I would throw away any Gem instead of stone. Good Luck!

I made the *exact* same mis-click error with my five gold quality crops just the other day - though in my case it was summer and it was melons. Like you I recovered them from Pierre, but wasted all that money in the process. I was tempted to start the day over, but I'd done too much otherwise and didn't have the heart to do it all again. I hate when I do this stuff to myself! lol.

i'll always love this game. this is one of my top 5 games of all time, i never get sick of it. great series! usually i skip all the cutscenes because i just LOVE the gameplay in kh2, but it was cool to watch them again.

The reason why Goofy leveled up is that any EXP gained applies to all party members, even those who are not currently in the party. That's why when you return to worlds you've beaten early on, like the Land of Dragons, and return after reaching a very high level like 80 or so, that Mulan magically becomes level 80, despite her not being present to gain the EXP. This also applies to Donald and Goofy during Drive forms, they still receive all of the EXP, despite not being in the fight.

this boss was always a favorite of mine, growing up. I still like it but nothing will compare to doing the reaction commands as a kid lol, it's so cool.

i always found it odd that the developers' solution to players' complaints about the underwater controls was to just remove the combat entirely and make Atlantica EVEN MORE different than the rest of the game.

MP Gift is what you're thinking of for Goofy, he definitely can do that in KH1 but sadly it's not present in KH2. Goofy's MP is only consumed when he uses his special moves like Goofy Tornado. he has no magic spells, so his magic stat doesn't matter, like you said.

this boss is notorious for having very long invulnerable phases, so that is likely why anti-form didn't do very much damage to it at all

first try Xaldin is impressive! he is generally considered to be one of the harder bosses in this game. it is a very cool fight, i will agree.

I'm not sure if you discovered this in a later episode or not but each of the Drive forms levels up in a different way. Valor levels very quickly and easily, for every attack you land on an enemy, you gain 1 EXP for the form. Wisdom leveling can be a bit slow as every heartless defeated counts as 1 EXP for the form, landing hits does nothing, only the finishing blow. Limit form is a bit weird to level because you gain 1 EXP for each of the form's limit finishers. Limit form comes with a set of limits that replace all of your magic spells, but you only gain the 1 EXP if you complete the whole limit, including the finisher. Master form levels from collecting the yellow drive orbs that enemies drop, this one isn't too bad. Lastly Final form is leveled from defeating nobodies. It's the same as wisdom, but for nobodies instead of heartless. It is hidden in a few different menus, you have to really dig for it to find it, I think this info should be much easier to find. Leveling forms is a common complaint people have for repeat playthroughs because it's just a lot of tedious work.

You're right, when you receive a 2nd and 3rd copy of a spell you already have, it just upgrades the power. For example, Fire is the base spell, when you receive it again the Fire becomes Fira. Lastly, Firaga. it can be a little confusing, I'm not sure why they don't just say you obtained "Fira" or "Firaga" but it is what it is.

fun fact about stitch, is that his summon ability is regarded to be the easiest to use. counterintuitively, you don't actually want to do any of his unique summon moves like the finisher, you simply want to summon stitch, and then let him just hang out on the screen as you continue to fight normally. Stitch's passive ability occasionally refills your MP bar completely, so just having Stitch out to hang out with you will allow you to use a LOT more magic spells than normal. If you need multiple cures in a short time, or just really like to use magic, stitch is your friend!

The Tron world was always one of my favorites growing up because it's all computer-y lol

i'm really not sure why Jack comes back into the party with no abilities equipped. it's very strange but he does in fact start with abilities equipped, he just loses them all when he leaves and rejoins the party.

i know this is about 5 months late lol but the reason backshuffle sometimes doesn't work is because you need to be in front of the pirate, as well as the pirate has to be in the moonlight. it's pretty easy to lose both of those conditions when in the heat of battle, so it's a bit of an iffy reaction command. but it is quite strong when it his, plus you dodge the attacks, so it is usually still worth going for.

Port Royal was always one of my favorite worlds in KH2. very challenging and unique!

I think the gummi missions are MUCH better in KH2 than KH1. They had a nice idea in KH1 and then built on it pretty well to make it a lot more balanced and enjoyable in KH2.

this was always one of my favorite parts growing up, checking out each of these seven wonders. the ball one and the vivi one are both standouts for me! also you actually nailed the ball wonder perfectly, that's as fast as you can complete that one. if you miss that first cycle, it takes much longer to get back into the groove!

fun fact not many people know about the Setzer fight: you do actually receive a better reward for throwing the match as Setzer asks! of course, his attitude makes you WANT to beat him, and by the time you get to the end of the game it doesn't make a huge difference, but early on, especially on harder difficulties, it can make certain fights much easier. For beating Setzer and Winning, you get the Champion's Belt which gives you elemental resistance bonuses. Very nice armor piece to have. However, for losing to Setzer and throwing the match, you get a medal from him, which actually gives you increased strength instead! I totally understand choosing to beat him though because like, come on, he is annoying LOL
