I put mine in warm water to start the rooting process. I also put in a little bit of white sugar to help it root send out new leaves. Once it is fully rooted you can plant it in soil. I make a sandy soil mix with a small amount of cow manure in it. I have kept it alive in a container of water again adding a little bit of sugar every couple of water changes. So glad to see this as I lost a clump of cilantro from grocery by setting the whole clump in water. Didn't last but 2 days that way. Just putting in fridge without water and cilantro bunch doesn't last but 2 days. I can't chop it all up first day to use because that would be too much for my recipes.

I just received a pot of beautiful cala lillies that are blooming. I don't have much light in my home and was wondering if I can plant them outside now? If so, will they continue to bloom? I bought by first shrub today, I live in the UK so my garden is really small. I wouldn't say I'm green fingered but I do love a colourful garden full of plants. Mime is a florida weigela and is 9cm tall, I will plant it next spring and hopefully in a few years have a wonderful looking Bush like yours. How old is your weigela? Thanks in advance

Hi, thank you for the question. I am in zone 7. The portulaca will die but the hens and chicks can survive the snow. I like to see the beauty in the winter too so I don’t cover but if you like, You can cover them with some burlap.

I really liked your video. I also have an angel wing begonia. It's seems to be getting leggy. The top leaves are very healthy. But I'm not sure how to prune it. I want it bustier. But if I trim it I will be left with stalks and no leaves what do I do?

Thank you. you can get lots of plants from your leggy branches. If you want, you can cut the top good part with the leaves and propagate them. For the stalks, you can leave one or two nods with the roots and cut remaining branch. You will start seeing new shoots from these nods in about 2-3 weeks. All the best!

Is there a place you trust to buy the seeds online? Because I've both bought them off of a seller on Amazon and one on eBay and i made sure i ordered the second time from what was listed as a different company but got my second order in the exact same packet with the exact same wrong seeds that looked like they are cosmos seeds which look NOTHING like calla lilly seeds. I'm not buying them again unless i KNOW I'm not being lied to anymore but I've moved to a small town and online is probably the only way I'll find seeds here.
