Hello im getting close results to yours but it looks smudged and less detailed even after bumping up the samples to 3k. Idk why i followed each step
@vaf_estudio18 күн бұрын
More samples are not always necessary. Try using a higer resolution image, this can help make it look sharper.

Nice Vid. Do you have the model?
@taynarachavis316129 күн бұрын
Excellent video! I would like to ask a question: after I inserted the background, I didn't get the same lighting even though I made the adjustments. I looked for the same background as you used. What could have happened?
@vaf_estudio18 күн бұрын
Did you check if the auto exposure is off? Maybe that could be the problem.
@eduardoguerra588829 күн бұрын
My problem is that I always have to scale x100 all textures. I dont know what is the unit problem....
@eduardoguerra588829 күн бұрын
Nice Video btw
@vaf_estudio18 күн бұрын
The problem is the uvs from sketchup. Sometimes the textured are not in the correct scale.

Why you used backdrop and not skydome ? Is there any particular reason ?
@vaf_estudioАй бұрын
When you select skydome only the sky is repleaced with the HDRI and backdrop allows you to chance all de sky and the floor view. In this case doesnt make a difference, I think is just my workflow 😁
@avicohen2kАй бұрын
I never understood unchecking auto exposure since you can leave it on and add a relevant value to fine tune it even while its on. If you had it on, you wouldn't have needed to put the hdri and sun so heigh, hdri at 1-4 and sun at 1-5 is enough, the rest is exposure like in real life. You might have been able to not use the area light as well that way.. Nice results!
@vaf_estudioАй бұрын
I turn off cause when you move in the scene the light moves to and you dont have truly control but I'll try with your advice, thanks!! 🙌

I usually work with small projects, I am aware of the power of other programs like 3ds max when modeling, but when looking for projects that are not so detailed, SketchUp becomes very friendly and fast following a certain workflow!

Nice to see your "trial-and-error" approach, searching for the right settings/ camera angles. I prefer this over tutorials that confidently arrive at a final image.
