I am a licensed Nail tech And You shouldn't cut your cuticles. That was one of the first things I learned In school. They could tell I was cutting my cuticles.😂 That's what the oil is for. Overall, I think you did a Great Job!

I have seen some people say that I need a gel nail tip builder, when using that type of nail tip and the dip system. Do I need to buy some and if so please tell me exactly what you'd recommend. what are the red marks?

Theyre a little thick (especially on the thumbs) for my preference, but I realize some folks like that - you do you! 😊. The colour is beautiful and this is a great tutorial. 😍 I will suggest that you use a different bit for smoothing things out before your topcoat. An arbor band is best for the natural nail; on dip powder you're risking staining your dip with the colour of the arbor band and you're potentially scratching it more than you intended. Again, just a suggestion! ❤😊

great video I love love this color i purchased and use the gel method my first hand came out perfect my second hand did not it was like the color was lighter after about 4 dips and filing down i finally got it i don't know if my application or the product any suggestions??

I did dip nails and it made me so happy. I had invested all this money into it. Only start getting dip flu. I even wore a crazy painters masks so I could do my nails and even that didn’t work. I was so sad. Took a six month break and now I think I will try this

You did an amazing job explaining your tutorial! One tip, since the gel has to be cured, you can put the gel on all 5 fingers before sprinkling the dip powder, then cure them all together.

I love this method! What is the best approach to take them off tho? Do you drill then soak? Still haven't found anything I can say I honestly love as far as removal. So again, for this application method, what's the best way to remove them. Thank you

Wait so you don’t have to use the dip activator? I thought that’s what made it strong and solidify. Are these nails as strong as normal dip powder would be?
