If the base currency of my company is defined in Mexican peso, but I have some clients who pay me in dollars and others pay me in pesos, the selling price of the material must be defined in my base currency (Mexican pesos), or in the currency of each client? For example, I have a material that I sell to my client for 10dlls. Today, 1 Mexican peso is equivalent to 0.05807 dlls. What value should I configure in the selling price of the material? a) $10 Dlls (customer currency) b) $10/0.05807= 172.2059 MX (base currency of my company) I hope you can answer me, I send you a cordial greeting!

Hello Saboeun, thanks for your comments. It sounds like from the information that you provided that you are looking for a way to sort materials on the Traveler by using the Primary Location. There is not a way under the Traveler tab in Preferences to do this. This would require a customized Traveler that our Custom Reporting team can assist with on providing for you. They can provide for you the scope of work that needed to be done along with the cost for what you want the Traveler to do. Please reach out to your Account Manager for further assistance. You can also call 1-800-525-2143 if not sure who your Account Manager is.

Is there any way that I can see the specific operation for a scheduled Job when I print the Job Schedule let's say for a week? When I printed the Schedule, all i saw was the Job/Part Name scheduled on that day but not which operation it would be.

Hi there, I'm using an older version of Jobboss. The message "this is not a valid change of status" keeps appearing when I try to use the releases (blanket) jobs tab. I can't create release jobs as a sub-component of a parent job. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.

Hi thank you for your comment. Please read through the below. Also, you may want to reach out to our support team if needed: 877-524-3577 Problem: When attempting to generate a release on a job or change job status, you receive an error indicating "this is not a valid change of status". Cause: 1. The system is attempting to change the status of the job to "Template" and you cannot have a template or blanket job with activity against it. Or 2. The system is attempting to change the status of the job to "Complete" and it is finding a component with the status of "Closed" Resolution: 1A. Remove all activity against this job, such as: time entries, purchase orders, linked sales orders, material picks, etc. 1B. If you are unable to remove all the activity, an alternative is to copy this job to a new job and change that job status. The two jobs can be "linked" together by Customer PO for costing purposes (Job Cost - Summary) if necessary. 2. Change the status of the component job that is "Closed" to "Active" and save it. Then you can change the status of the main job to "Complete"

Do you have to attach them separately, every time you create a new job? Or is there a way to attach those files at the initial material creating screen... and then they will just pull automatically into new jobs with that part number??

My process for this is to create a template job and do the attachments. Then when creating the job with the fields selected under the options your attachments will be auto linked from the template job.

It's nice that you can acturally do this but why do you have to use an external program, be an excel master, create a macro and go through all of these steps to get the basic information that an advanced software like Jobboss should be able to do.?

Is there a way to get the new report to update its data everytime it is run? I exported the Open Sales Order report to Excel, modified it to look the way I want, then added the report into the User-Defined Reports section. But everytime I click the report it only pulls the historical data. Is there a way to get this to update everytime?

Totally agree! What is the making sense point if it doesn't pulls the updated data next time? What is the difference between opening this report from a local folder or through Jobboss?
