I just got a tortoise and idk how to take care of it, it maybe a yearling and I still didn't get it to a vet so I kinda dk certainly which species but google says its russian/greek, I have put it in a big cartoon box that has tall walls, it has water and Ive seen that it likes swimming in it while drinking, it doesn't eat much, tried vegetables (boiled potato and normal tomato) and I tried mint but it didn't work, I gave it grapes but it didn't even finish a single piece, and Im scared, am I treating it right? I would love some help, especially if it didn't cost too much (other than the vet) and it loves dark spaces and hides in dark corners of the house, am I ignoring signs? send help pls

Wondering if I set one of these up inside if a Russian tort would climb out. Good looking setup.

Tips maka sure your water level is cold fancy goldfish are cold water fish😊😊😊😊😊🎉
@younghundead9 ай бұрын
Goldfish aren't only cold water, i have had coldfish in community tanks at 26C they can conftably be kept at 28 and temporarily be kept at even 30. They are known for coldwater yes, but almost all coldwater fish will survive and some even thrive in warmer temperatures

@@younghundeadYeah exactly I'm getting a heater when I setup my 60 gal because warmer temperatures help them with parasites and stuff

How old is your sulcata tortoise? I have two. One is 2 years old and 3 inches long across the shell and one is 1 year old and 2 inches long across the shell. Just wondering if they’re abnormally small for their ages?

Can i use sand? Or wood dust instead of soil
@TinyBoy-910 ай бұрын
I recommend soil and wood chips so it’s easy for them to dig because sand will not be good for digging because the holes/burrows will cave in
@luketownsend8797Ай бұрын
Depends on the species, you are safest googling the preferred substrate for your species
