Help?? The top auger motor on my Englander continuously turns, it does NOT turn intermittently as it should; thus it just keeps pouring pellets into fire box. It’s as if it is receiving constant power. I have the back off the stove and can see the motor/auger just keeps turning & turning. Any ideas of what could be causing this? Thank you so much. The model is an Englander 25-pdvc/55-shp10.

The lower buttons on the control board (Low Fuel Feed, Low Burn Air, and Air on Temp) are not meant to be adjusted during normal operation of the unit. These buttons are factory preset and can not be adjusted by the user.

This is the absolute best explanation of how the Englander control panel works. My son and I thank you for making this video and sharing it. It has cleared up so much. We kept having his Englander 25PDV spit out pellets on setting 9 and the fire was massive and unbearable heat. Then when you stepped it down one to 8 or anything else below. It would burn up those pellets before the next load would arrive. Basically, we called it a cycle which lasted about 15 mins. Now, we have it feeding a proper amount without any pause. The factory 6-4-1 setting just wasn't working. I believe the bottom auger spins slightly faster than the top can manage. I get a full rotation from the bottom auger in about 40 seconds rather than one full minute. It's a 1 RPM CCW motor. It just seems to move slightly faster than it should.

I have an englander for our house. It came with it. This should heat our 1350sq ft house no problem! But it doesn’t. Sounds like the blower isn’t coming on? Would that effect it enough not to heat the whole house?

Excellent video!! I have a ip25 new englander. Great stove. I have just hooked up a wifi tstat to it . I keep it clean. Blow it out weekly. Was having a lot of e2 codes. Ran the fresh air pipe to the outside of building and it runs better. Hotter. No errors.

Make sure your pellets are fresh. Old pellets generally get sticky and damp.

Perfect Installation on what seems to be a confusing issue. I too have a 2013 XLT Transit Connect Van and like many I was surprised to find no filter when I bought it used and figured someone took it out and never replaced it. And when I did get a filter it was too big for to fit in the cover. For whatever the reason FORD did not always put a cabin filter element in every Transit Connect Van. But remember - this is a globally distributed Van so somewhere out there a certain market or model gets a filter. FORD and most after-market suppliers make a filter and … and they all are too big to fit in the cover. That’s because the cover was used in non-element models to keep leaves and debris out. As demonstrated here, if you lay the filter on top of the intake for the air system, you will find it’s a perfect fit. In other words - Toss the hard-plastic cover as it was designed for non-element applications.
@nanalcd562810 ай бұрын
I try to squeeze the filter into the hard plastic cover as best I can, and it will stay in it but it is not perfect. Rather than toss the plastic cover, use it to protect the small rat chews the paper filter to get inside the Van.

Keep in mind, there are actually Two augers. The one at the bottom of the hopper that feeds the one that goes into the burn pot. The speed adjustment only controls the auger at the bottom of the hopper
@williamschulz622 жыл бұрын
The fan your talking about on other side is the exhaust motor. The make up air is little port in back that sucks air into the burn pot.

The mesh screen at 2:05 is doing the work keeping the leaves and large particles out that could clog the system. Ford deemed that enough. Although it might not trap small particles of dust etc going through these would naturally enter into the cabin, however I have never had any issues with the cabin being filled with dust etc, I guess it helps the system as a whole being less restricted / having better airflow. I was going to buy one but I am now edging towards leaving it stock, now that I know they aren't meant to come with one.

I have a 2013 New Englander pellet stove where the low burn is factory set so my pellets overflow in the burn pot
@ReiMonCoH2 жыл бұрын
Probably an airflow issue. If it’s not burning the pellets as fast as your feeding them, then you stove/exhaust pipe is likely not flowing enough air to get an effective burn.
