A pretty young factory worker ( Norah Howard) is windowshopping at a rolls Royce Adele’s. Dealership and dreamily mentoions mentions that she would like to have a car like that.the son of the factory’s owner ( John mills ) happens to be there and falling for her,winds up buying the car for her! He doesn’t tell her who he is but he doesn’t know that she is one of his father’s employees! Complications ensue! He finally tether tells her who he is at the ending of the movie 🍿! Ah! John mills -a good actor and the father of Hayley and Juliet mills! He sings at the end of the flick!

Crazy how this inspired Fallout, and Mad Max.

After I left this movie was really painful.😢

This is a favorite movie of mine, but only in the original B&W. Colorizing is bastardization of old movies. This cannot be called a classic in this version. You might as well change the excellent score by Gail Kubik too, sort of colorizing it to ruin it.

Behind the stock footage and folksy narration this is very much a quest story. There is 1) The Call ie. it's not a bear doing this 2) The Journey ie. camera swaying in the woods 3) Arrival and Frustration ie. finding tracks and looking for evidence but finally retreat 4) Final Ordeal ie. bigfoot paying a visit 5) The Goal ie. mystery remains allowing for a sequel and another after that
