@@jackwoods9604 I hear ya. Beholder was placed first. I watched that race a 1000 times. It’s the reason American tracks don’t let you know where the wire actually is. They claim it’s somewhere on the mirror. At no time was Beholder on the mirror before Songbird. The start, middle or end of mirror. Right before and after, yes.. Songbird won the bob and should have been placed first. They can manipulate the wire anyway they like. The photo should come out immediately and the wire should be universally at the same place at all tracks. The technology has been there for years but will never be instituted because of races like this. They can place whoever they want first.

@@laurenmichelle4007 Watching how crowded the last turn was in all of these stretch runs makes me think that the rule is not always followed. I think a rule needs to be followed consistently to be an actual rule. I am so disappointed in this year's Derby. Can't seem to get excited about the upcoming races, although they are at different tracks with different stewards.

Same here...I was curious and watching them all for signs of interference coming around the turn. It looked like Monarchos totally cut off the horse that came in third. And let's not even talk about the starting gate, which is usually a cluster of everyone bouncing off each other as they try to get over towards the rail!

Robin S Yeah I re-watched it because my stuff is higher quality and yeah he did cut off a horse and I saw that you did that more than once before they hit the finish so apparently nobody said anything back then but now a horse that ran a great race accidentally came in to the line but then went back is disqualified and a horse that wasn’t even a impeded wins I’m still salty about it it’s not right

@@KevinSmith-ee4jb yes, they are. But for some reason they only seem to work on horses like Big Brown, not the rest of the horses you see on the video which have all taken steroids as well😂😂. Steroids have been legal in thoroughbred racing for a long time, and have only started to "tighten up" laws recently because of outside pressure. Steroids will always be in that sport.

@@KevinSmith-ee4jb thats the only trainer that openly admitted to using steroids😂. Ask Chad Brown or Todd Pletcher or Bob Baffert if they use steroids on their horses and theyll just walk away from you and say no comment🤣. The fact is, all trainers use steroids, whether for recovery or to maintain the horses ideal weight. Ive been around horses since the day i was born. All trainers use substances that would obviously be banned in team sports. That is a fact. Its not just one or two horses. Its most if not all of them. What? You think Secretariat or Seattle Slew never took steroids? Lol

walter yanez I’m just saying, quit talking about Big Brown like he’s some majestic beast. There are at least 5 horses in this video that would whoop him. His legacy will forever be that he was the last doped up success of an exiled trainer that got demolished in his only steroid free race. That’s the story, whether you like it or not.

Elvis Marquez The reason I see Secretariat as the greatest horse ever is because I was alive but very young when he won the Triple Crown. I can not say anything about horses who were way before I was ever born no matter what the stats say.
