If we believe human are basicly evil, then we also needs to think about who is responsible for that? Is it inherited from parents or infused by the God(society)? "What's in it for you?". Ask questions like Nietzsche, Kant。 Not follow the trained thought from Capitalism and Consumnism.

The story of Wukong is always about status and discrimination, Wukong is gifted with the power that can rivaled the whole celestial court. Being recognized by the emperor is Wukong greatest achievement, but instead of being honored for his effort, Wukong was appointed as a Stable Keeper which makes him lower than a servant. With the whole court talking trash about Wukong and degraded him since Wukong is a Yaoguai, it was inevitable for Wukong to stay still and accept it like nothing so he launch a catastrophic rampage against the Celestial Court which destroyed the entire Jade palace until Buddha intervened.
