I was looking at investing in a teleconverter for my sigma 150-600. My sigma is a Canon mount that I've been adapting to my a7rii; do I just purchase the same Canon mount for the teleconverter?

It is recommended to buy SIGMA brand of telephoto,TC-1401 or TC-2001.
