Depends on how you want to record the drums. Usually, I would record the drums with the 18i20, which is my main interface. As far as mics, the snare gets 2x SM57’s…too and bottom. Tom’s also get an SM57. I like the Beta 52A kick mic from the bass drum. Hi-hat gets an SM57 and the overheads get the C210 and if you have an extra C210, you can use it as a room mic to capture some ambience.

I haven’t used it on drums, but for vocals and guitars, it’s great. I’ve heard a few few people on some forums, swearing by the 710d for drums. Thanks for the comment man.
