Damm you can fly the shit out of that thing brother

how do you keep tail belt tension
@StefanFinster26 күн бұрын
We found that using a slightly longer screw in the side of the chassis where the boom is clamped it increases boom clamp friction and ensures that the belt tension doesn't change. I think its a M3x10mm instead of M3x8mm

Wow, outstanding flight! Also i think it's the lowest RPM video (in the end) i saw on KZbin of this heli, at least basing on the sound. Definitely was interesting to hear and see how it works on low. Thanks for sharing. So is it that 'smackdaini' guy from KZbin or someone else with just similar name?

Yes same guy.

@@StefanFinster great to hear :) i like videos both of you! Btw, about previous comment about Fusion 550 spare parts in EU HorizonHobby - honestly i checked and it's all the same, nothing changed. I go to Fusion 550 kit then i click 'replacement parts' and it shows only 1 page of items, while their other helis, for example new Fusion 700, show whole 3 pages with many parts. A lot of 550 items are still missing, simply even no spare belt. You can check by yourself :)

I liked the last part, it is so slow and floaty, i wonder what RPM was there?
@StefanFinsterАй бұрын
diddnt set it to any specific rpm, just turned it down enough to fly smooth 3D. I need to check the values in thr radio.
@cutefoxRCАй бұрын
@@StefanFinster oh, then yes maybe throttle value would be good to know still :) i wonder if it's near 60-70% ? Probably can't do that with 50%?
@StefanFinsterАй бұрын
Just checked my radio, im using 55% throttle as my lowest rpm setting and 75% 85% for my idle 1 and 2@@cutefoxRC
@cutefoxRCАй бұрын
@@StefanFinster wow, that's nice to know, thank you! I think to get Fusion 550 eventually, i like how relatively quiet it is on low RPMs, at least in the videos.
@StefanFinsterАй бұрын
@@cutefoxRCits so sick, flies so good at low rpms, and also gets quite alot of power out of a 6S 5000 while still getting 5min 3D flying time. LOVE this beast of a heli.

What is that move with the tail dance in the beginning? :) i don't really see others doing it, first time i saw it from SmackDaini, you are the second one whom i see doing it! Catchy stuff.
@StefanFinsterАй бұрын
a piro wobble? its basically perfectly out of sync piroflip but we can control it and move the heli everywhere. On the sim i can even do upside down, but need to get more comfy in real. Believe it or not i have basically done 99,9% of my flights in realflight sim rather then outside 😅
@StefanFinsterАй бұрын
I do also have a simulator tutorial videos on the piro wobble
@cutefoxRCАй бұрын
@@StefanFinster Oh so this is how it's called! Wow seems quite old move, but then i wonder why almost no one does it in modern videos. Interesting to know that it's kind of opposite to the piro flips :) hope to learn that trick someday! For now it looks quite confusing even in a slow down, haha. So is it like a sim physics is not the same or you just don't feel so opened in real due to afraiding to crash the model or hurt yourself? I used only one simulator yet, Heli-X and even then it was a demo version with just 700 heli. I still used it from time to time, but i liked more to practice in real on my micro heli. Recently i finally jumped onto big heli (T-Rex 500X, 470mm blades), man it was a huge shock after micro with 120mm blades. Took me few flights to be less scared to fly. Simulator not prepared me to such intimidation haha. Now i can freely cruise it around, no 3d of course.. but recently started to risk and try some basic flips. It was nice but also still a bit scary compared to a sim :) but i guess if i will want to practice a lot of 3d then i definitely will need to buy some proper sim. I just worry that simulator may take away fun from a real heli and it will be like you said, i will be just flying at PC instead of going out hah.

I run the stock Avian 130 Esc on 55% 65% and 85%, not sure which rpm that makes but you should be able to reproduce it with stock setup on 6S 5000mah.

5:06 That machine isn't small......I was wondering if it could be possible to put brackets on both side that could hold a 9mm with 100 round barrels? And controlled by a stealth network with OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) type of network - through cellular communications, that allow up to 500 choppers separately divided between the OSPF under their own missions.

Why have your Blade so much Power? Are you running IT in Gouverneur Mode or have you Set Up the ESC different?

Calibrate your esc properly and set throttle off sets to zero and max output on throttle curve
