In case if anyone is wondering: Miles fate was foreshadowed in the theater where an interview with Dr. Wernicke was playing regarding Project: WALRIDER. According to Wernicke: "Only a test subject who had witnessed enough horror was capable of activating the engine." That was pretty much what Miles went through when arriving at Mount Massive.

I was truly loving this game until this part. I don't need hand holding in games, and I hate to have to use guides of any sort. Out of principle this game can eat my entire, fat arse, because just plopping you into a middle of a whack puzzle with no direction or not even a bare bone hint is a complete piss take!

Echo, if not a playable character, should have been Killzones answer to Reznov from COD and Dima from Battlefield. On the opposite side but clearly a protagonist and key figure to the story overall.
