Loved snow logging, knots broke of easier, worked in Grays valley in 7 ft. It was redundant, but Franklin keep us working.

I logged for 11 years out of dayton and walla walla area. From 1990 to 2001 in the Blue mountains area. Love the old snowy logging in the woods, video. I got some video just like it. Miss it so much.

I used to run loader and I always made the guys cut a 16 off the butt then a long log. 32, then another short log. I hated it because all the short logs, when trying to load trucks. But it paid better at the mill when scaled. Other guys would have nothing but long logs.

Those ford ltl 9000s were nice tractors. Ran a couple of them back then. These guys worked hard.

The folks in the area that were losing their cattle and goats (their livelihood) and fearing for their safety didn't think so. They tried to have a talk with it and say shoo kitty, but unfortunately that didn't work.
