I watched this video and then put together my own desk following the directions. It was straightforward and easy to follow. This video is also accurate.

I'm 6ft 300lbs and have been using this chair for 2weeks now. People who need this chair don't even know they need it... I don't think this company even knows who needs this with the market changing and work from home. Take me for example... I was looking for a gaming chair for my bad back and I came across the Herman Miller Embody.... So I got the chair. Next thing I know I'm getting all the chairs. I got this chair. I love this chair and I've tested just about everything so far like steelcase, herman miller, and humanscale chairs. Back to who needs this chair: people that like to sit backwards in chairs and game with a controller, tatttoo artists that can sit in the chair backwards and lean with the chair over a client, anyone that likes to sit weird, anyone that has to sit for a long time. No wonder Herman Miller acquisitioned Knoll. Also... PEOPLE DON'T KNOW THESE BRANDS. YET. BUT THEY FOR SURE HAVE SEEN THEM IN MOVIES AND MAGAZINES. Oh, they might be okay with their purple cushions and cheap office chair.... but for how long? I've been computing since 1999 so I know about chairs I had a mid century modern ergo chair for a long time and I got a big leather chair because I wanted to feel like DA BOSS and it ended up MESSING UP MY BACK. But yah, this chair is awesome and I wish to go to the knoll Chicago showroom sometime. It looks lit.

We bought a Knoll Life chair. It cost just over €1000. On the backrest there are two small plastic protrusions. They stick out so much that the fabric on the backrest wears on them as you lean back and forth in the chair. Eventually it wore through the fabric and now the two small holes have run and are several inches in length ruining the chair. I contacted john Dare in your Customer Services and spoke with him on the phone. He told me he would send me a replacement back for the chair. As I had not heard more from him, I emailed again and he replied stating I would need to buy a new back. My advice is to avoid Knoll. There is no doubt they have beautiful products, but if that means we have to deal with unsatisfactory customer support, then form-over-function cannot be ignored. The design is not fit for purpose and the lies I was told are very disappointing indeed.

I'm surprised the product(s) haven't been developed further in the last 10 years. Having looked at the Formway Be chair ~5years ago the main deterrent was the fact that the arms do not have the same features as the Steelcase Leap.

Putting together this desk is not as easy as its shown here. The manual of instructions that comes along with this product is useless (they horribly mess up in the set screw direction part. You put it just one wee bit in the opposite side, it will snugly go in and in the step of fixing the side bar, not work making you do it all over again.

if you think putting this desk together is as easy as they show in the video you are kidding yourself. It's a joke. I am still working on this and it's taking four hours and I now have a handyman doing it for me and he thinks it's a joke. Factor in an extra $200 on top of the retail price so you can pay the handyperson.

It was easy enough for me.. I did it in about 30 minutes. I have no experience in building desks. No, they aren’t paying me to say this. Hope you got the desk together :)

Jack of all trades, master of none is the perfect way for me to sum up this chair and as a result, this is the worst office chair I have ever used. For me the best will always be a Steelcase Leap.

Surprised to see Knoll advertising like this. Things sometimes lose their iconic cool factor as time passes. So they substitute successful-looking young execs to update their brand. That chair, however, lacks the clean lines and notable (memorable) silhouette of classic Knoll furniture.

For anyone interested: If you look at the hinge assembly. All the force goes through a plastic piece that will shear and break. Their customer service is terrible and you will experience a slow and very expensive fix. Oh and the warranty they advertise on their website. Not the warranty its sold to you under. Deceptive and misleading. You might just find yourself out 800+ dollars. Don't buy.

Why is that Australian making those profoundly comical gestures? Wish he'd stop. He should stick to what he knows best...drinking Fosters, BBQ'ing shrimp, watching Crockadile Dundee films (but..who doesnt love those?), and celebrating his criminal ancestry.
