That was a awesome kayak camping trip man with your dog. I Just got a Black lab Puppy Two months ago & for Memorial weekend holiday my whole entire family ( wife , 6 boys my oldest son dog that is a Black lab Puppy , my Black Lab Puppy , my daughter in law , Granddaughter , my lil brother , & his son ) we are planning on doing a 30/40 mile kayak camping trip & i can't wait. It's going to be my dog first kayak ride & camping trip. I will see how he likes it. Man you was definitely over load on your kayak man. But it looked like it did very well for being over load. I like how you was kayaking barefooted 👣 & wearing your flip-flops 🩴because I am only barefooted 👣 or wearing flip-flops 🩴 & that's it. I don't own a pair of shoes , socks , or boots to wear. Only flip-flops 🩴is the only footwear that I have & that will fit my extremely wide feet 🦶 that is a sz15 6 E wide with very very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this video.

To those who say this guy is wrong about the name of the waterway. No he is not wrong, the Cut river is the river between Higgins lake and Houghton lake.

I got a tip for ya on the dry bag. just use 40 gallon heavy duty construction trash bags and clinch up tight with a rubber band or whatever is handy. damn dry bag too expensive compared to how well they actually work,

Hey man looks like you and your buddy had a lot of fun. I take my husky in my ascend H10. haven't been that far North east on the Clinton. looks like an easy out and back trip. My problem going solo is I got no one to pick me up I got a truck but no driver. I got to do out and backs.

I just wanted to say that as a fellow creator of similar content I really enjoyed this video! Despite being a wheelchair bound amputee with a dual spinal cord injury, my favorite outdoor activity is kayak camping - even though that means packing along my nearly 70 pound all terrain offroad 3-wheeled wheelchair on the back of my 'yak. Despite my handicap, I love going out for days at a time and often go out solo for my wilderness camping adventures and your video truly made me feel like I was right there with you! Best wishes, Trevor Montgomery Handicapable Adventures

I gave this a dislike -- because the author does not know the correct name of the watercourse he is paddling on. It is The Cut (check a USGS map) --- the Cut River in Michigan is in the UP East of Epoufette. There is NO Cut River in Roscommon County. The Cut begins at Higgin's Lake and ends at its confluence with Backus Creek -- Backus Creek then flows into Houghton Lake. I believe there are but 2 rivers (by USGS map labeling -- THE official authority) in Roscommon County, the Muskegon R. (begins at Houghton Lake) and a small portion of the Tittabawassee R.

The guy put all this effort into making this video and traveling to a new area. Of course he doesn't know all the technicalities and names the locals know. What matters is he's having fun and enjoying this planet. Disliking videos hurts the person that posted the video, you could've just left a comment saying "I enjoyed the video but that river is actually ______ river, not the cut river". Says a lot about you to get upset over a video

What a nice kayak camping trip you had. Nice weather you had for the trip too. That was a lot of gunshots going off at the beginning of the trip. I like how the park had the kayak ramp For you to slide your kayak down to the water. That was awesome. My park doesn't have that & we need one too. You should keep a Big empty gatorade bottle or a urine bottle with you on the kayak to pee in. I have a urine bottle so I can pee 2 / 3 times in it while I am on the water. Cuz you got to have a cold one 🍺 on the water man. I like how you had your feet 🦶 kick up on the kayak man. Me & my 6 boys , my lil brother Tim & his son Jimmy we all kayak like that too. That is so awesome to see other people doing that too. I also like your flip flops 🩴 you are wearing too man. Me , my 6 boys , daughter in law , my wife , my lil brother Tim , & his son Jimmy , my Granddaughter , & Grandson We all are huge huge huge fan of flip flops 🩴. That is all me , my 6 boys wear all year around even in 20 / 30 degrees weather outside we are in flip-flops 🩴. Flip flops 🩴 are the best footwear for kayaking. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing it.

What stretch of the big Manistee is this? We are talking about bringing my 14.5 semi V bottom boat and putting in at High Bridge near Wellston and moving slowly up river to get on fish. Man this was a cool video man.can tell it was a lot of fun. Kayak camping trip are always fun to do exactly when you have other people to do it with. The weather was good & no problem too. I like how all 3 of you was kayaking barefooted 👣 man. That was awesome to see cuz I have to Kayak barefooted 👣 too because I have big very very Extremely wide feet 🦶. I like in the video at 33:35 were you had your feet 🦶 relaxing on top of the kayak man. Me & my 6 boys we all do that & We call in ( Close control ) "LOL" it's so relaxing that way. I also like how all 3 of you was wearing flip flops 🩴 man. Me & my family are huge huge huge fan of flip flops 🩴because I have big & very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 sz15 6E wide ( which is very very extremely wide ) with very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe & my 6 boys have very wide feet 🦶 except for my 3rd son John who feet 🦶 is Exactly like mine Except he has big toes that are Evenly straight across too. My foot outgrow shoes , socks , & boots when I was 18 years old & Flip flops 🩴is the only footwear that will barely and I mean barely fit on my feet 🦶 because my toes are wider than the flip flops 🩴 straps. It's so so cool to see someone else that kayak camp the same way as you. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing it.
