My brother and I got a ride in a UFO in October 2019. We sailed (it felt more like effortless "sailing" than anything else) way past the moon...I told them how we humans always associate the moon with "coyotes"...they laughed in unison...still laughing, they replied to me that they always associated "coyotes" with "Joni Mitchell"...within an instant they filled our magnificent chamber with a surreal 3-dimensional sound of this song! It was indescribable the loftiness of Joni's voice in 3-D! I exclaimed: "Oh my God, is this sonic technology in our future?" Their collective heads nodded simultaneously. Wow, can you imagine 3-D sound! Then one replied: "Actually, it's 4-D."

One more example of Joni Mitchell’s incredible talent as a singer-songwriter. It doesn’t get any better than this.

Somehow it only just occurred to me that nearly every musician on this number, apart from Levon Helm, was Canadian. Goodness knows if that made a nickel's worth of difference, but it's interesting. I do kind of wish that we got a look at Richard, Levon, and Garth during this number. The remarkable thing is how clear it is ("spellin' it out so clear..." yeah) that the Band could play absolutely anything. Miss them.

This is Miles of Aisles! I don't know how I did not wear out my copy of that album in those days, mid-70s. I was so infatuated with her. She was in her prime and never hotter.

What was that whispering Bob said, at the end there? ''That was great''.. A whispering understatement, Joni... just beyond talent alone....

Oh Sean, you seem to be so melancholy singing this. I wish we knew why your choice is to live alone without a wife, or perhaps a husband, whatever! My husband died in his 40’s and I have been alone now many years, ever since his passing. I like my own company but do have times of depression and melancholy. Such a sad beautiful song Sean, beautifully rendered by yourself. I continue to thank and bless you for your wonderful videos .

Oh, how I love this early stage in Joni 's folk music days. Wonder if she ever kept that beautiful pink dress that she is wearing here? I used to love that dress. She was just new, hadn't been around too long yet in the music business and she looks sort of like a fairy princess in this lovely dress.
