Going to such lengths just to have an in-universe reason as to why the Better End mod was removed when you updated the game? Impressed me even more than the storytelling in Episode 1! I was not expecting the village theme to be on kazoo though! 😂

id recommend a noise gate for your mic, just to cut out the white noise when it detects you're not talking

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm definitely trying to dial in some better settings. I threw together a noise gate + 3-band EQ + compressor stack into my OBS and Tenacity filters for the next episode. Eager to hear if it comes out better.

9000, days in three years? Dude, I'm at 3000 days in 3 years. I did the math though for my own world and thats like an average of .62 hours a day for me, putting you at about 1 hour 45 mins per day on average. Most people spend twice that on their phones so its really not all that bad. You at least have something to show for all that time, where doomscrolling doesn't.

Yeah, that math sounds about right (maybe a little longer since I prefer spawn-proofing to sleeping through the night). I play a lot "with" my kid (while we're both hanging out in the same room, if not letting them join over LAN), so it's historically been some good bonding time.

Aw thanks! I was moderately unhappy with how I sounded, so I just spent a bunch of time fiddling with my mic and OBS settings. For the next video, please let me know if I inadvertently make everything worse!

Still working in 1.21. Rates should be ~450 shells / hour, but I haven't bothered measuring.

Thanks for the feedback! I need to rework this for 1.20 (now that you need a hopper minecart to yoink a disk that hasn't finished playing). When I do, I'll include a block by block tutorial.
