The crazy thing is that they had an even worse fax machine at their house (my two bosses were married). At their house, they had a roll of paper, not a tray of individual pages. So when we faxed them, it would come out on a huge roll and they'd have to rip off the individual pages. That mattered because they wouldn't always rip the pages in the right spot. And it would get out of order. And then they'd fax it back to us and all the pages would be out of alignment. Sheesh!

Not always. A JV is a new legal entity, like a new business, where the JV's two (or more) owners are other businesses. But "team up" can just be an effort two companies do together with a simple contract.

I started doing this right when I was about to move from Chicago to Mexico, and I couldn't keep up with the video portion of the recordings ... there's just a lot of moving parts in a video, especially if I want to get the audio right. But soon I do hope to bring the video component back.
