Many truth seekers seem have good experience with mother Aya. And many of those that were looking for healings also seem to find what they were looking for with ayahuasca. I didn’t unfortunately but ended up with something much more beautiful than I expected. During my first ayahuasca ceremony, I didn't see any vision, but I purged three times. I thought the medicine wasn't working. However, the person who facilitated the ceremony insisted that the medicine was actually working. I took his words with a grain of salt in the beginning. But as the week progressed, people around me started to make positive comments about the way I carried myself and I too started to feel more content with everything that was going on in my life. So, I guess the medicine was actually working. Anyway, since I didn't see any vision the first time, the facilitator insisted that I take part in another ayahuasca ceremony and he would let me attend it for free. So I agreed. During my second ceremony, something happened. I saw a vision, the most beautiful vision I had ever seen in my life. I was in a different realm of existence and I had the most blissful experience I have ever had. After 3 or 4 shots of ayahuasca and 5 hours sitting in the ceremony, nothing was happening to me. The drama started right after I remember saying to mother aya in my head “TAKE ME”, submitting my self to the her and ready to go through pain or even to die. When the vision started, it started very mildly. I saw small geometric patterns right in front of me. But little by little, the patterns started to become larger and larger and the lights and colors started to become brighter and brighter. And slowly, my body started to move on it's own like a snake dancing. Little by little, my body started to move faster and faster to the point where I could not control it any longer. And gone, I went to a different realm of existence. When I saw my hands, it felt like I saw them for the first time. And they were the most beautiful things I had ever seen in my life. They were detached from my body. At this point, every part of my body was actually detached. My one hand was here. My other hand was over there. My head was over there and my body was somewhere else. It felt like those limbs and body parts were flying everywhere and were no longer part of me, but they were also part me the same time. The imagery, the lights, and the geometric patterns that I saw was so beautiful that I cannot put into words. And the love. The love that I felt was so pure, so impersonal yet very personal at the same time because I felt so connected to everything and everything was connected with me. I was part everything and everything was part of me. About one week after my second ceremony, however, things turned into the opposite direction. I came to realize that I was possessed during the ceremony. It’s been three years since my ayahuasca ceremony and I’m still dealing with the possession. For the whole year after the ceremony, I had trouble with sleep and couldn’t turn the lights off at night. I felt like I had gone insane. I was scared to go to sleep because my body would start to move like a snake anytime I started to close my eyes. If I fall asleep, I would wake up at around 12:30am almost every single time and became fully awake instantly and found my limbs moving on their own. It felt like my whole body my skin turned into a snake. I would see faces on the wall. I became so scared. I would curl up and wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep again. Sometimes, I would be kept awake by the banging sounds. Other times I would be woken up because my legs were being jerked by the some kind of being that I didn’t understand or I felt like my back was being rubbed against a big snake. One night, I wasn’t able to sleep and stood wake all night and by almost morning, I saw a flying snake hovering over me. Its head was about the size of an elephant. My month become locked opened and I couldn’t move my body. The snake then entered my mouth. I would see my blanket raised up as if there was something underneath it. Anyway I can write a book about what I had to go through the past three years and still struggling with. But thank God I’m able to deal with it better now. I truly realize now that there are no shortcuts in life. Looking for a true freedom and a long lasting happiness while living in this world as it is being promoted in ayahuasca community or by new age philosophy is insanity because it doesn’t exist. While I’m still alive, I have a choice to make. I can either choose to enslave myself to everything: my dreams, desires, parents, friends, partners, bosses, society.... or I can choose to worship the One and only God, Who has no partners, Who is the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful, He is the everliving, the Self subsisting and He is our eternal refuge, He has no sons nor is He begotten, nor there is anyone equals to Him in anyway shape or form, not even in our imagination. Those who believe and their hearts find rest in the remembrance of God. Truly in the remembrance of God do hearts find rest. Those who believe and do good, for them is happiness and blissful is their journey’s end. Mother aya is not god, I’m not god, you are not god, we are not part of everything and not everything is part of us. If God wills, comfort and contentment in the heart while living in this world and an eternal bliss of the next next life, the life after death, can only be found through the struggle of trying to get to know who Allah is and trying to worshiping Him in the best of manners through living the live that was prescribed to us by Him, the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful. This way of life that God prescribed for us was exemplified by the prophets of God from Adam to Abraham to David to Salomon to Moses to Jesus, to our final prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and thousands in between them. Many of us truth seekers and reverts, who are from different genders and races, find the Deen Show, a show on KZbin Channel beneficial as our starting point. Wishing you peace and love. Wish u all the best. But I wonder, where you a muslim before this journey? Do You follow Islam according to the Quran? I'm not a muslim. But something come to me when I was sure I was going insane on mushrooms. I tried calming my self with mantras such as "aum mane padme aum" but nothing worked. Then from somewhere it came to me, La ilahe il Allah! And my heart grew strong again.
