Your new pup is clearly adorable. However, considering all the thousands of animals killed at Animal Shelters every day across the US, it is sad, that you likely chose to buy, rather than rescue. Every kind of dog, cat, rabbit and Guinea pig can be found, every breed you could possibly imagine. It is heartbreaking to think that more and more are being reproduced to add to the pet over population problem, made worse by natural disasters such as the California wildfires. Please take a moment to encourage responsible pet ownership. You may also be unaware, that it is best to use a harness on young anmals, their necks are delicate, and easily injured. By all means use a microchip tag, name tag and phone number as well as license on a collar. It is also better not to expose young animals to others until they have been vaccinated. It would be tragic to lose your new pet to a fatal disease due to lack of awareness. Learning about pet nutrition and training is also important if one cares about the health, happiness and longevity of pets. They are a huge responsiblitly.

She will have her first three rounds of her parvo and distemper but did you have anything that you were worried about or that they told you it was fine?

We are picking up two white labradoodle pups-they are brothers-on June 18th. Their names are Calvin and Hobbes. Excited, but this will be new territory to have 8 week old pups and having two dogs.
