English also has many contractions. Here are some examples: Do, da, dos, das, no, na, nos, nas, pelo, pela, pelos, pelas, neste, nesta, nesse, nessa, naquele, naquela, desse, etc...

Let’s not throw stones in glass houses. Portuguese also has contractions. “Em o” becomes “no”, “de + o” is “do”, et cetera.

Couldn’t agree more! Humor connects us all, though it’s tricky. I’ve had jokes bomb before too. Habit10x’s Sense of Humor Improvement Program gave me pointers. Keep practicing-humor is worth it!
