How to get the different sounds of the lightings? Is it from different conduction current or interrupt the current /electricity for short time ?

Having seen significantly better arrangements and work done to make Tesla Coils sing, I have to say I am very disappointed in this. The only thing it has going for it is duration. The opening started well and then suddenly dropped the ball with the lack of suspense and the poor timing. Sadly, it was never able to pick the ball back up.

Haha the mic I was using this year was borrowed from the school library and it was...crap. I use a Rode VideoMic Pro+ in the 2018 Tesla Coil Concert so that one's probably the best in terms of both video and sound quality!

does the system work automatically? or u programmed it somehow cause is fucking amazing
@Andrew-vm8vk8 жыл бұрын
I programmed the lights using High End System's Hog 4 PC (www.highend.com/products/lighting-consoles/hog-4pc), which is a scaled-down version of the software they use in professional shows and concerts. I timed it manually so that as long as I press the play button on my computer and the music player at the same time, the computer will automatically go through the preprogrammed cues on time with the music!

When I lived in Townsend Hall *mumble* *mumble* years ago, I played with a carbon arc in my room. Not a lamphouse just the rods. Had to use welder's goggles to protect my eyes. We did things like melting small rocks and setting aluminum on fire. But my proudest achievement at ISR was this---hope the statue (sic!) of limitations has run out! facebook.com/notes/steve-kraus/once-in-a-blue-moon/10153963399222296
