Some places are still 2 separate homes it depends on your family size. We’re loving it here, We have so much space🤩🤗

@@pcsmove-cali2rota202 thanks for replying. I hope your kids are adjusting to living overseas. It took me a while, but living in Rota were the best 4 years of my life by far. I made lifelong friendships with other military brats.

Hi!!!😁 I believe the size of the house depends on how many dependents you have. Some houses are split down the middle into 2 separate houses ( it’s hard to explain) I think any rank can stay here on base if they choose but I’m not 100 percent sure.. sorry I’m still kind of new.

@@pcsmove-cali2rota202 do not spend to much in the car, i recommend you visit Sevilla City, the heart of Andalusian essence and a quite opposite place like Gibraltar (is like travel to England but much closer). Granada is super cheap for eating and lovely place and if you like history you are going to touch, walk, taste, smell history everywhere in Spain.

Girl!! These kids are still running wild 😆😆🤦🏾‍♀️ I’m not sure about different ranks for housing, my husband is an E4. I’m bearly going to my ICR class on Wednesday (it’s backed up because of Covid) to learn everything about living on base overseas and to get my Spanish drivers license. Whatever I learn I’ll share it with you all 🤗

Can’t wait to see more. Because I’m so curious, we choose orders in September so I wanna keep our options open on places we’ll enjoy. It sucks to be stationed someplace that’s horrible 😮‍💨

We plan on going off base to explore more when we get our Spanish license (2weeks) and our vehicle on the February 1🤗 stay tuned!

The housing assistant showed my hubby around the community and a couple of different 3 & 4 bedroom homes an he chose this one! I wasn’t with him, I stayed back at the Navy Lodge with the kids. He said the process was simple and everyone was friendly and helpful. I’m sure it’ll be easy as long as your orders are for Rota.

No problem! 🤗 Unfortunately, I’m not sure who all qualifies for base housing, I’m still learning everything🙂

👋🏾 Hey🤗 We’re all vaccinated so only my son who’s 3 had to quarantine on base or “ROM” as they call it in Spain. After the 10 days he was cleared to go off base. Will you guys be living on base or off??

Also, before we left San Diego we had to get him tested and bring along the negative test results 💙🙂

How about the school is it on base? I have middle School and 3yr old

@@TheSiats24 Same plus 1. We have ages 13, 7 & 3. The school is literally on the corner from our house. It’s centered in the middle of housing so you should be close coming from either direction. This was the girls 2 day & they love it so far…they’re adjusting well. I don’t have any complaints so far. The school is from Preschool-12th so it’s huge!
